Classical Cabaret
Join us on a breathtaking musical journey through beauty in its many forms. From the Renaissance to Joshua Yangs prize winning composition - there will be something for everyone.
Two intermissions and doors open at 7:30 for a pre-concert talk provide ample opportunity for refreshment. Part one is anchored by a performance of Morten Lauridsen's "Chanson des Roses" - settings of five poems by Rilke. Part three features the Bach Motet "Lobet den Herrn.
In addition you will hear music ranging through the ages, from Gibbons and Purcell, through Brahms and Lehar to Somers, Yang and Washburn, and many others from Europe and the Americas along the way.
