Julie Powers is a STRONG woman and a beautiful mother of three great kids. Danny, Riley, and Patrick.
In 2013 Julie's world was turned upside-down when she learned she had breast cancer. The treatment that followed included a radical double mastectomy, multiple rounds of chemotherapy, radiation treatments, muscle and skin grafting as well as reconstructive surgery.
Julie was ecstatic in May of 2014 when she was declared "cancer free" and she turned her attention back to her children.
Danny, the oldest, was born with Down Syndrome and his medical and educational needs are much greater than that of a child without this special need.
Her daughter, Riley, is currently in need of an expensive dental procedure that came as a result of allergies and other complications she's been contending with her entire life.
Strikingly, in may of 2015 Julie was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. This new diagnosis has come with uncertainty and will include more medical expenses and rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. Julie has already undergone emergency surgery as a result of this diagnosis to remove her thyroid.
The road ahead now includes additional therapy, and fighting, as Julie tackles this new obstacle.

The money raised from this campaign will go towards the hefty medical bills that Julie and her children currently endure. Any additional funds raised beyond this need will go towards an education fund for the three Powers kids.
