"Promises" is TG McEwan's seventh album
From Edinburgh, Tom grew up in Maryland and developed a Celtic Americana approach to 12-string, blues harp and songwriting. He stormed the 1980s college circuit. After playing the Bluebird open mic in Nashville, he launched the weekly Edinburgh Songwriters Showcase, before fronting the frenzied Captain Swing Ceilidh Band. Neurosurgery curtailed music for several years, but, after winning LetsGetLyrical, he produced a book of 200 songs, re-released his back catalogue, and returned to gigging. He now presents "Promises", which explores the commitments we all make and sometimes break. Welcome back, Tom! See tgmcewan.wordpress.com
