Meet Your Maker: An evening with North Spore Mushrooms
Meet Your Maker is an opportunity to spend an evening up close and personal with some of the most creative food producers from Greater Portland and beyond. The third Saturday of every month, we invite friends who make delicious things to eat and drink, who treat their space and creatures well, and who are a lot of fun to hang out with. In our intimate kitchen space, Rosemont Chef Bryan Dame cooks a dinner incorporating and accompanying the producer's products, and we all dine together communally and sumptuously.
MYM April 2016 is a night with North Spore, a small group of good friends dedicated to advancing the cause of sustainable mushroom cultivation, spawn production and foraging. Rosemont Chef Bryan Dame will prepare a fantastic four-course meal, each dish emphasizing North Spore mushrooms in creative ways and paired with an outstanding artisanal wine. The North Spore guys will be on hand to discuss their work and products.
