Down in the Valley: FMGMC Presents a Revue of Great American Music

Come join the Fargo-Moorhead Gay Mens Chorus for our spring concert, "Down in the Valley: FMGMC Presents a Revue of Great American Music" under the direction of Angel Lira. This concert will take you through a varied tour of music that has been a part of the American landscape over the years. From western classics to show tunes, you are sure to enjoy each piece we present. You will hear songs you recognize, and you will be introduced to new American composers! We hope the concert will be a testament to the greatness of our country and the Red River Valley! Come join us; you'll be glad you did!

FMGMC is excited to announce that we will also present the Midwest Premiere of Brokeback Mountain Suite, by Gustavo Santoalalla and Bernie Taupin, arranged by Michael Alfera. The piece was originally arranged for the Gay Mens Chorus of Los Angeles, and was graciously gifted from Mr. Alfera to FMGMC in early 2014. We are excited to be able to share his gift with the Fargo-Moorhead community!

This concert will be an event not to be missed! From Michael Alfera to Robert Shaw, our set list, musical guests, and well-dressed men will be sure to please!

A percentage of proceeds from concessions sales will go to support the Fargo Park District and the FM Pride Collective & Community Center!
