Barluath
A diverse, innovative Glasgow-based Scottish folk band, embracing the traditional and contemporary music of Scotland, Ireland and America. The band conmprises six young musicians who met whilst studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and have now graduated. Barluath won a prestigious 'Danny Kyle Open Stage' award (Celtic Connections 2012), following this with their own slot their in 2013. The band released their debut album 'Source' (Nimbus Alliance: September 2012) to widespread critical acclaim. Their second studio album 'At Dawn of Day' followed in Feburary 2015, and they are working towards a third for release in early 2017. www.barluath.com
