Leaf Peeper Concert - Basking in the Baroque
The final concert of the season, BASKING IN THE BAROQUE, will be our Annual Newell Jenkins Baroque concert. Beloved Baroque arias and duets from the operas, oratorios and cantatas of Vivaldi, Handel, Bach and others will be performed by Arianna Zukerman (soprano) and Gustavo Ahualli (baritone) and Giovanni Reggioli (piano). Excerpts from JS Bach Cello Suites will be played by Astrid Schween - a long-time favorite of Leaf Peeper concertgoers, and newly appointed cellist of the famed Julliard Quartet.
