NOBODY DOES IT BETTER: The Carly Simon Songhbook
Popular Seattle-based entertainer Meg McLynn performs a salute to legendary singer/songwriter Carly Simon in the most recent addition to the Purple Phoenix Production cannon of tributes to the Great American Songbook. Among the songs performed will be "YOU'RE SO VAIN", "HAVEN'T GOT TIME FOR THE PAIN", "LEGEND IN YOUR OWN TIME", "NIGHT OWL", "ANTICIPATION", "MOCKINGBIRD", "YOU BELONG TO ME", "NO SECRETS", "COMING AROUND AGAIN", "THE STUFF THAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF", "ATTITUDE DANCING", "GIVE ME ALL NIGHT", her Oscar-Winning song "LET THE RIVER RUN" and the concert's title song "NOBODY DOES IT BETTER". Ms. McLynn will be backed by the 8-piece Purple Phoenix Rock Band. The concert is two hours long with one intermission.
