Escondido Choral Arts "Fables 'n Fairytales" Concert
The Center Chorale, a 50 voice ensemble of singers conducted by Dr. Joe Stanford, and The Center Children's Chorus combine to present a concert of fantastical music that reminds us of the classic stories of childhood. Songs from Alice in Wonderland, Hansel and Gretel, and even The Hobbit tell about our favorite ventures into our imagination where anything is possible.
The Center Children's Chorus includes children from ages 7-18 who sing together weekly and perform their own concerts throughout the season. Conducted by Diane Geller, Dana Stanford, and Katy Lundeen in three age level choirs, the 50 voice children's chorus study the art of vocal music, performance, and music literacy at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido.
