The Rose Ensemble: Slavic Wonders
The Rose Ensemble is an award-winning Saint Paul, Minnesota professional ensemble, which tours internationally with repertoire spanning 1,000 years and 25 languages. This concert marks the third Sacred Arts Series performance by this talented group. In the past, the ensembles inventive programming has included both Medieval chant and American bluegrass and gospel music! This year the Rose Ensemble will present a concert entitled Slavic Wonders: Feasts and Saints in Early Russia, Poland, and Bohemia. This music from the Roman Catholic and Russian Orthodox traditions will be stunning in the Cathedrals reverberant acoustics.
