Port Townsend Community Chorus Spring Concert - April 8th
This spring the Port Townsend Community Chorus will present a choral cantata by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy entitled "Come Let Us Sing", based on Psalm 95, one of six Psalm cantatas by the beloved composer. The work features chorus numbers and soloists, accompanied by pianist Lisa Lanza. The second half of the program will consist of songs from movies spanning the past 80 years, all of which have received Oscars, or at least nominations, for best original song in a motion picture.
