VIVISECTIONS INTERNATIONAL HORROR SHORTS

PhilaMOCAs quarterly screening series returns in this special edition for the 2016 Cinedelphia Film Festival! For those of us who grew up in the '80s, few names bring as much joy as Rowdy Roddy Piper and John Carpenter, and were thrilled to be kicking off this installment with appearances from each. The second half of our program is dedicated to one of our favorite contemporary filmmakers, Alexander Yan, who will participate with some of his collaborators in a Q&A following the screening. Jacqueline Castel, director of Puppet Man, will also be in attendance for a Q&A.

"Portal to Hell!!!"

Filmmaking duo The Clemens Bros. pay tribute to their late father, prolific screenwriter Brian Clemens (The Watcher in the Woods, Highlander 2), who sadly passed away soon after coming up with the idea for this film.

"Iris"

In these modern times, its nearly impossible to consider tackling certain tasks without the aid of your smart phone. Same goes for when you need to dispose of a body.

"Elko"
