WELCOME TO HARLEM
Welcome to Harlem is a feature-length musical comedy film that is written, directed, produced, drawn, designed and choreographed entirely by artists living in Harlem, NYC. Revolving around a group of young artists trying to find their way on 151st, the film explores friendship, love & community, while using its unique sense of humor to keep audiences on the edge of their seats and laughing for hours!The original score is fresh, infectious & upbeat, incorporating genres of Hip-Hop, Rock, Jazz, R&B, Salsa, Funk, and more! Far edgier and funnier than your typical musical, the film is reminiscent of such greats as Rent and Avenue Q, though with an independent vibe and community feel. One of the most fun and creative films of the past decade!
