Songwriter Circle: Cal Scott and Richard Moore with special guest Beth Wood
Songwriter Circle: Cal Scott and Richard Moore with special guest Beth Wood

Monday, April 4, 7:00pm
OConnors Vault
7850 S.W. Capitol Hwy

Cal Scott and Richard Moore welcome award-winning singer-songwriter Beth Wood to their bi-monthly circle at OConnors Vault in Multnomah Village, Monday, April 4 at 7:00pm.  This series is now sponsored by Hearing Health of Raleigh Hills.

Beth Wood stands out among the many singer-songwriters regularly appearing at the Sisters Folk Festival as a riveting presence on stage, whether solo or collaborating with her musical peers.  Shes won a string of festival songwriting competitions, including the prestigious Kerrville, Texas contest in 2005.  Beths original songs sparkle, and yet she can take a classic like Etta James At Last and make it her own.  Originally from Lubbock, Texas, touring takes her coast-to-coast several times a year.  Here are a couple of quotes from around the country:
A superb singer/songwriter whose versatility discourages labeling.  Fort Worth Star-Telegram
Beth Wood is a musical triple-threat  a thoughtful songwriter and talented multi-instrumentalist with a supple, soulful voice.  Washington Post

The Circle regulars with Jack will be Cal Scott and Richard Moore, who have fine-tuned their acoustic chops together and individually over the past forty-some years. They initially joined forces as a collegiate vocal trio with tv star-to-be Markie Post, then with a rock band in the seventies, and now are four years running with the Songwriter Circle.

Advance tickets are $15 each from  brownpapertickets.com or at the door.  Once the show is sold out, a few tickets may be available at the door, at the discretion of the venue.

OConnors Vault is a friendly, comfortable neighborhood music venue offering a full restaurant menu and full bar.

Our generous sponsor, Hearing Health, is Portlands #1 rated Hearing Aid Provider, located in Raleigh Hills.
