Healing Power of Music Benefit Concert
The Healing Power of Music Annual Benefit Concert will take place on May 1, 2016 at the Maryland State Boychoir Center for the Arts at 3400 Norman Avenue, Baltimore MD.beginning at 3:00 pm. The event features the renowned Maryland State Boychoir in concert with the Healing Power of Music Chorus, a pre-concert reception, silent auction, wine pull, and flower sale. All proceeds will benefit Shepherd's Clinic and its Joy Wellness Center and the Maryland State Boychoir. Shepherd's Clinic is a non-profit health center established in 1989 with a mission to provide free health care for the underserved. Patients are provided with the full spectrum of health care services at no-cost, including behavioral health programs and wellness care. The Maryland State Boychoir, established in 1987, is Maryland's official Goodwill Ambassador. The choir fosters a love for singing, celebrates diversity, builds self-esteem, improves self-confidence and enhances self-discipline through its music training, rehearsals and public performances. The Healing Power of Music Chorus brings adults together to enjoy the benefits of singing in community in a relaxed and fulfilling atmosphere.
