LIZZIE in CONCERT!
On a sweltering August day in a small New England town, circa 1892, a brutal murder left townspeople shaken to their core after a rich man and his second wife were axed to death in broad daylight. Lizzie Borden, their youngest daughter, was the primary suspect. She was arrested and tried, but, with no witnesses to the hideous crime, she was acquitted. The murders remain unsolved to this day.

Now, her enduring legend and mystery have found a home on the theatrical stage in LIZZIE in CONCERT, by Steven Cheslik-DeMeyer, Tim Maner, and Alan Stevens Hewitt.

LIZZIE in CONCERT stars Briana Cuoco (The Voice), Cait Fairbanks (Heathers), Lauren Rubin (Criminal Minds), and Emily Swallow (Supernatural); backed by a six-piece rock band with musical director Jared Stein (Spring Awakening: Deaf West) at the helm.  The show tells the story of Lizzie Borden, Americas favorite double axe-murderess and Victorian hometown girl.

On March 3rd and 4th, 2016, Over the Moon Productions (RENT: Downtown L.A. and ovation nominated Spring Awakening) & Ladybird productions will bring you LIZZIE in CONCERT at the famous L.A. rock venue, The Mint. The Mint, established in 1937, is a local landmark. Many music greats have played here, including Stevie Wonder, Willie Dixon, Natalie Cole, and Ray Charles.  More recent prominent artists include Ben Harper, Macy Gray, and The Wallflowers.
