Todd Mosby and New Horizons Ensemble -- CD Release Party! (Scott Bryan opens)
Todd Mosby is a guitarist, composer, and improvisor in the field of contemporary instrumental music. He is considered one of the finest jazz guitarists in Saint Louis, headlining area jazz festivals and the only guitarist admitted into the famed Imdad Khani Gharana. Creating works that are both highly creative and intelligent, this innovative artist has mastered multiple musical forms including classical, jazz and Indian raga. For the CD release, New Horizons Ensemble will be performing program music based on a location theme of Eagle Mountain. All music is geared towards the water, animal spirits, nature spirits and special locations found On Eagle Mountain.
Opening the concert will be Scott Bryan, a singer/songwriter/producer who toured for five years with Sheryl Crow and performs/produces regularly locally, regionally nationally.
