Renaissance Treasures
On April 3rd, the Rainier Chorale will perform musical treasures from the rich Renaissance Period, a vibrant time when knowledge and fine arts flourished. These years in the 15th and 16th centuries mark an incredible transformation and advancement in music notation and composition. Composers of this era, such as Dufay, Ockeghem, Machaut, and Josquin des Prez brought ground-breaking musical ideas that helped to shape the world of classical music as we know it today. We look forward to including some early instruments as we feature the musical ensemble, "Trillium". To hear these beautiful treasures performed will surely be a memorable event. This is a concert that is sure to entertain and inspire you! One performance only! Kent United Methodist Church, 11010 SE 248th Street in Kent, Sunday, April 3rd at 2:00 p.m.
