Leigh Pilzer and Friends
For her 6th year of the Washington Women in Jazz Festival fabulous swinging saxophonist Leigh Pilzer performs her original music and fresh arrangements of classic jazz repertoire. This intimate concert and recording is at Takoma Park's newest performance space, Allyworld, with festival newcomers Sherrie Maricle (NY) on drums and Jackie Warren (Cleveland) on piano, along with WWJF favorites Amy Shook on bass and Jen Krupa on trombone. www.washingtonwomeninjazz.com
