Classical Interludes: The Horszowski Trio, Paul Brantley, composer
The Horszowski Trio will present a program of the complete piano repertoire of acclaimed composer, Paul Brantley. The concert will feature two original pieces, "re:dux, comes", originally for baroque instruments, and the premiere of "Trio", commissioned by The Horszowski Trio. The concert will also include Brantley's arrangement of Stravinsky's joyful "Pulcinella Suite" and his realization of J.S. Bach's enigmatic "Fourteen 'Goldberg' Canons". Flutist, Alexandra Sopp, will be joined by Horszowski Trio pianist, Rieko Aizawa in a performance of Brantley's "Swevens Sonata".
