The Maine Acoustic Festival Showcase Concert is the annual finale concert to the statewide student music festival presented by 317 Main Community Music Center and North Yarmouth Academy.
Maine's finest student musicians will be coming together in concert to perform the traditional acoustic music styles of bluegrass, Old Time, Irish, Franco-American, Traditional American Vocal Harmony, and Composition, all of which have shaped Maine's musical culture.
The Maine Acoustic Festival itself is a statewide acoustic music festival for middle school and high school students who spend three days rehearsing and participating in workshops and performances. This year the three-day Festival will feature nationally-known guest artists Don Roy, Antje Duvekot, Dylan Foley, Brendan Taaffe, Isa Burke and Bronwyn Keith-Hynes for ensemble workshops, coachings and a Showcase Concert on Sunday, April 3rd at 4pm at Hannaford Hall, USM Portland, 88 Bedford Street, Portland, ME 04101.
Maine Acoustic Festival would like to thank 317 Main Community Music Center and North Yarmouth Academy for supporting this years 2016 Maine Acoustic Festival.
