Rock 'n' Ribs Benefit

Early bird tickets for the full event are available for $20 online up until April 23rd and include a free digital 5 song EP from The Band of Heathens. http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2500638

After April 23rd, rib-off tickets are $10 and music tickets are $15, only available at the gate.

*Kids 12 & under come FREE!

All proceeds will go to Grow Selma and Mill Village Community Garden & Food Park!

Rib Competition: $100 per team (up to 4 people)
We supply ribs. Teams supply hors d'oeuvres. There will be a wing competition going on during the day for any teams that want to compete.

Gas is allowed.

Each team will be judged on:
1. Redneck hors d'oeuvres (people's choice award)
2. Presentation (ribs)
3. Creativity (ribs)
4. Flavor (ribs)
5. Texture (ribs)
6. Wings (3 PM)

There will be four awards:
1st Place
Runner-up
People's Choice, given to the team with the most charitable tips
Best wings

There will be a kids area during the day with a bouncy house!

8:00 AM Teams can start setting up, competition spare ribs will be handed out and we'll go over rules
12:00 PM Start cooking
1:00 PM Day Pass ($10) allowed, includes all you can eat ribs and hors d'oeuvres
3:00 PM Rick Carter starts and Wings will be judged
4:15 PM Kenny Brown
5:00 PM Competition ribs are turned in for judging and Big Stage starts ($15)
5:30 PM Teams' charitable tips are counted and People's Choice Award is presented, along with 1st place, Runner up and Best in Show
6:30 PM Banditos
8:00 PM The Band of Heathens
