Around the World, Girls!

Wen-Do is the longest-running self-defence organization by-and-for women in canada! Since 1972 we have been bringing powerful self-defence training to women and girls just like you!

In honour of International Women's Day, the Laurentian University Women's Centre/Centre des femmes de l'Université Laurentienne is kicking the power up in your Wednesday afternoon with a high-energy self-defence seminar from Wen-Do Women's Self-Defence Instructor Shailagh (http://shailaghkeaney.ca)

In this seminar, you will learn the power and impact of women and girls using self-defence to defend themselves all around the world. This seminar will be delivered using storytelling, humour and care.

Shailagh has traveled around the western hemisphere and is enthusiastic to come back to her hometown to offer strong, effective physical self-defence. She is a compassionate, intuitive self-defence instructor whose goal is to support you to (re-)write your narratives and stories of success! By using each other as inspiration you are invited in this seminar to embody your greater power and rock the rest of your week.
