Angie Louise & Miz LaWanda DuPree, Saturday March 19 @ 9 PM
Welcome to Seattle's 2016 March Is Cabaret Month Festival!

ANGIE LOUISE and MIZ LAWANDA DUPREE in "Appetite For Excess"

"Intoxicating" singer-songwriter Angie Louise and irrepressible jazz matron LaWanda DuPree team up to prove that in a world rife with pleasures, more is more - the trick is not to indulge ourselves to ruination! With David Marriott Jr. (trombone), John Engerman (piano), Todd Gowers (bass) and Ed Littlefield as hot band The Lou'siana Gators!

Angie Louise is a performer and writer working in music, theatre and film. She is the frontwoman and songwriter for Weimar-inspired band The Love Markets ("Irresistible... A deliciously dark carnival" - Seattle Magazine), familiar to Seattle arts lovers for their appearances at ACT Theatre, City Arts Fest, Seattle Art Museum, TV's ArtZone and more. An Equity actor, Angie has performed many principal roles on regional stages including The 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre, Ordway Center (St. Paul), Theatre Under The Stars (Houston), and American Musical Theatre of San Jose. Film credits: Screenwriter, songwriter and actress for two award-winning feature films, cult comedy "Gory Gory Halleujah" and holiday hit "Switchmas" starring Elliott Gould. In 2013, Angie and The Love Markets released debut album WORLD OF YOUR DREAMS. Their new album BEAUTY FACTORY will be released in August at ACT's Falls Theatre.

"Louise is a singer, songwriter and actress with fearsome chops." - City Arts

Miz LaWanda DuPree is a self-professed "jazz matron" from New Orleans whose influences include Dinah Washington, Tom Waits, Tina Turner and Billy Idol, to name a few. A force of nature, Miz DuPree has appeared at The Rendezvous, Re-Bar, Can Can, Theater Off Jackson, and the Phinney Center. She has also served as the hostess of such events as Tacoma's First Night New Year's Celebration and the Center for Sex-Positive Culture's auction fundraiser for Seattle Erotic Arts Festival.

Showtime: 9:00 pm. Doors at 8:30.

*Egan's requests a $10 minimum purchase (food or drink) per patron per show.
