Aurora Chorus celebrates International Women's Day by honoring the courage and fortitude of women as they persevere in everyday and in extraordinary circumstances, be it making ends meet, maintaining self-esteem, or overcoming the trauma of sexual violence.
Aurora is pleased to welcome back Artistic Director Joan Szymko in a performance featuring the music of Northwest singer songwriters, the Northwest premier of "truth" by Andrea Ramsey, and a powerful new anthem by Lady Gaga.
This year our featured guest artist is Portland indie-folk artist and American Idol alum, Moorea Masa. We are excited to introduce Moorea's gorgeous fusion of folk & soul to our audience. Learn more at mooreamasa.com.
There will be one concert at 4:00. All tickets are for open (non-reserved) seats. Note that the balcony is accessible only by stairs.
Tickets can be mailed to you at no charge or held in Will Call for pickup. We do not require photo ID at Will Call.
For questions about tickets you have ordered, please email admin@aurorachorus.org, or leave a message at 503-287-6721 (press 1 for the ticket line). We will be happy to assist you.

Since 1992, Aurora Chorus has honored the strength and beauty of women's lives through the fine art of choral singing. Aurora was founded on the belief that music can be a powerful instrument of peace--locally, globally, and in the hearts of all who sing and all who listen.
