Western Heritage Celebration
Western Heritage Celebration is a monthly venue promoting the Western Way of Life to Central Arizona. Music, poetry, performing and fine arts along with historical accounts including verbal story telling and written literature are a few of the methods in which this is done. Offering quality, yet historical entertainment at affordable pricing is a must. Award winning entertainers, artists, authors and storytellers come together and bring to life factual, and legendary, myths of the West. Each show is fresh, with a new blend of the various crafts and performers monthly. Bringing recognition to Central Arizona and the Western Way of Life, while educating the public, is an added benefit! This month's show is at: The Historic Woman's Club Building, 407 N. Sacaton, Casa Grande, AZ. (SW corner of Florence and Sacaton) and features Nancy Ruybal and Dean Cook. Nancy is a wonderful songstress. She is a 2011 Western Music Association Nominee for "Song of the Year" and her latest CD with the Katy Creek Band, "Wild Rose" debuted at number eight on the Western Music Charts and resides at number fourteen on Western Music DJ's most played CD's for 2011. Dean is a renown storyteller and poet, deemed in 2005, as an "Arizona Culture Keeper," recognized for "keeping alive the music, poetry, and tall tales of Arizona and the West."
