Doug Allen - March 19, 2016
Doug Allen is a singer/songwriter with a rich voice and tunes with strong hooks that are setting him apart on the country music scene. People say this singer/songwriter from Nashville is a cross between the new country sound of Zac Brown Band, Darius Rucker and Train. Doug grew up in the Suburbs of New York City.
You'll hear two songs off his current CD in Major Motion Pictures, including a bar scene with Renee Zellweger in the Universal Pictures Film One True Thing. Doug is a seasoned live performer, having opened for acts like Gregg Allman, Edwin McCain, John Entwistle of The Who, Jewel, The Bacon Brothers and many more.
