The Wicked Pickers craft a hot acoustic mosaic of bluegrass/Americana, jazz instrumentals, foot-stomping fiddle jigs, and harmony vocal numbers from folk to soul.

What started as a pre-teen jamming on a cardboard guitar cut-out & lipsyncing to The Kinks and Def Leppard for family and friends has evolved to become some of the most heart-felt and honest songwriting /performing in recent decades. damian israel shiner grew from solo to shinerjones, and now fronts a flexible project involving a rotating crew of "displayers". In their most popular configuration, "the displayers" includes the inscrutable Daigo Fujiwara on bass and the exquisite Mr. Chris Harris on percussion, who lay down the rhythm and harmony that elevates the ever fluid sound of this magic in process.
