Violinist Hlif Sigurjonsdottir in Concert
Icelandic violinist Hlif Sigurjonsdottir will be in concert, presented by Jeffrey James Arts Consulting.
Ms. Sigurjonsdottir will perform solo violin compositions, Icelandic composer Runa Ingimundar's From My Home, J.S. Bach's Partita II in d minor, BWV 1004 and American composer Merrill Clark's The Sorceress - Sigurjonsdottir Sonata (accompanied by a video work by the Greek artist Ektoras Binikos).
The Ingimundar and Clark works were written for her and can be found on the CD Dialogus, released in 2014 by MSR Classics - http://www.msrcd.com/catalog/cd/MS1551. The disk was included on Fanfare Magazine's 2015 Best of the Year Want List.
