Chartreuse PLUS Triple Point Trio
Chartreuse is violinist Myra Hinrichs (Chicago), violist Carrie Frey (New York City), and cellist Helen Newby (San Francisco). As a tricoastal trio, they aim to take advantage of the distance by working with as many amazing people in their cities of residence as possible.
In that spirit, they will celebrate their fifth winter together with a double bill featuring the illustrious gentlemen of Triple Point Trio (Doug Perry, vibes; Sam Suggs, bass; Jonny Allen, drums). Come out and hear new trio works by Aaron Holloway-Nahum and Peter Swendsen, a new sextet by Thomas Kotcheff, Flintlock, old favorites from Chartreuse's time with the band deturtle, and original works and arrangements by Triple Point Trio.
