McKrells
For three decades Saratoga's own Kevin McKrell has travelled the world with his bands Donnybrook Fair, The Fabulous Newports, Hard Times, and, of course, The McKrells. Known for his rousing, charming live performances, Kevin is a pioneer of the high-energy musical genre described as "Celtic Cowboy." His songs are performed by Kingston Trio, Woods Tea Company, and Seamus Kennedy, among many others.
This trio features Kevin on guitar, bodhran and vocals; the brilliantly creative percussionist Brian Melick on anything that can thump, bang or chime; and Kevin's daughter Katie on powerful harmony and lead vocals.
