Constella for Kids
Constella presents musical stories with a twist in this interactive program for children. Three professional singers and a pianist share their talents in a humorous, entertaining introduction to opera and classical music. Pieces including "Stone Soup" and songs by Seymour Barab and PDQ Bach. Musicians and a narrator interact with the audience to convey the importance of self-expression through music and art.
Our goal is to inspire children and let them know that music and art can be part of their everyday life. Audience participation is highly encouraged during the talk back in between the pieces. Recommended for children in grades 1 through 5.
