The Hamilton Music Collective's Jazz at The Gasworks Concert series, in support of the AIFEC (An Instrument for Every Child) program, presents the second concert in the winter 2016 series:
The Darcy Hepner Jazz Orchestra
Founded in 2008 The Darcy Hepner Jazz Orchestra is one of Canada's premiere jazz ensembles and is an assembly of a veritable who's who among Canadian jazz musicians. The DHJO will be performing music from the libraries of Thad Jones, Bob Brookmeyer and Henry Mancini as well as a tribute to the Great American Songbook, including selections from the band's recent CD, Blues in Another Minute.
