APO Spring 2016 Concert: Again
Recycle, revisit, rewrite. The orchestra features its principal oboe, in a work originally planned for last season, along with other pieces which repeat history in some way.
- Haydn: Symphony No. 101 "The Clock"
- Lebrun: Oboe Concerto No. 2 in G minor (Torrence Welch, oboe)
- Vaughn-Williams: Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis
- Stravinsky: Pulcinella Suite
Amy Wilson conducts.
All seating is general admission. One child under 12 admitted with each adult ticket purchased.
Box office opens at 7:00 p.m.; seating begins at 7:15 p.m. Complimentary reception follows the concert.
