Madison Area Community Christmas Festival 2015
The Madison Area Community Christmas Festival 2015 returns to the Middleton Performing Arts Center, 2100 Bristol Street, on Saturday, December 19 (shows at 2 & 7pm) and Sunday, December 20 (one matinee show at 2pm). Featured will be the over eighty local performers including the Madison Area Community Chorus & Orchestra, and Ringing Badgers Handbell Ensemble, under the director of Mark Bloedow, Artistic Director.
The program opens with a showcase of local music ensembles performing Christmas favorites including Maestro's Ringing Badgers Handbell Ensemble and special guests, Madison's Choral Arts Society Chorale. Following intermission enjoy a holiday musical feast including the choral and orchestral celebration "Festival of Carols" by Joseph Martin, "For Unto Us" and the "Hallelujah Chorus" from Messiah (G. F. Handel), and a closing audience Carol sing. Tickets for the event ($16 Adult, $12 Senior, $8 Child/Student) are available at local outlets including Willy Street Co-op Stores (East & West Locations), online, and at the box office one hour prior to each performance.
