The NEPAG has received the "As They Grow Award of Excellence", the "Good Housekeeping Seal" from Parents Magazine; presented at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on the Anniversary of the Center for Neighborhood Enterprises; is the recipient of the Mayor's Arts Award for "Excellence in Service to the Arts", and has been featured in the Catalogue for Philanthropy of Greater Washington: A Guide to Givingrecognized as "one of the best small charities in the Greater Washington Region."
This year's fundraiser will feature performances from the Starlite Performing Arts, Tehilah, Praise MIME African Dancer, Arch Bishop Carroll High School Emerald Illusion Dance Team, Youth in Praise, Sons of Freedom Dance Institute, and many more.
The auditorium doors will open at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, and the show will start promptly at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door on the day of the event.
The proceeds from this year's fundraiser will be used to augment funding for NEPAG's year-round performing arts and academic-related programs for at-risk District youth, with an emphasis on wards east of the river.
