Contra Costa Children's Chorus presents - Hope For Resolution
FRIDAY, MAY 18, 7pm
Featuring Levels 3, 4 & Honors
with contrasting songs from Cuba, Canada,
Brazil, Australia, Japan, and the US, closing with
Caldwell and Ivory's Hope for Resolution,
a marriage of a lyrical European chant melody
and an uplifting Zulu anti-apartheid song.
SATURDAY, MAY 19, 10am
Featuring Levels 1 & 2,
with a selection of songs from Levels 3 & 4
From the Czech folk song Above the Plain,
to the rhythmic and boisterous A Great Big Sea from Newfoundland,
and the haunting Who Can Sail from Norway,
our youngest singers will delight you as they deliver
these diverse songs from around the world.
