Strange Brew + Slap Shot - Double Bill!! Vancouver Craft Beer WEEK!
Presented by The Rio Theatre in collaboration with Vancouver Craft Beer Week - Strange Brew & Slap Shot - The Best Canadian BEER MOVIE Double bill EVER!!
It's been 365 days since VCBW 2011 shook the core of British Columbia's craft beer scene with our second annual nine-day celebration of fermentation. For year three we're turning up the volume to 11 by bringing you 9 Headliner events, 6 Opening Acts, 36 Neighbourhood Gigs, and 12+ week-long specials dedicated to all things craft beer.

The RIO Presents The Best BEER MOVIE Double bill EVER!!
Strange Brew 7pm + Slap Shot 9pm
Tickets $10 for the double / $2 off for movie related costume
ONline tickets available $8
Strange Brew: Canada's most famous hosers, Bob and Doug McKenzie, get jobs at the Elsinore Brewery, only to learn that something is rotten with the state of it.
Slap Shot: Starring Paul Newman, A failing ice hockey team finds success using constant fighting and violence during games.
And for the first time in Vancouver, craft beer will be available at the concession, including Storm, R&B, Central City & Granville Island!
