Meet and Greet with Lalah Hathaway

SEATTLE, WA April 20th, 2012 - MUSICA Entertainment presents R&B/Soul singer Lalah Hathaway for a meet & greet this Friday, at noon at the Church By the Side of the Road in Tukwila, Wa. This event for youth is FREE, but reservations are requested for entry.
Lalah Hathaway, daughter of soul legend Donny Hathaway, has been referred to as the "first daughter of soul". Hathaway is one of contemporary R&B's most prized artists and in demand vocalists. Hathaway is currently touring in support of her sixth solo album "Where It All Begins." This exciting opportunity for engagement with one of R&B's most talented and respected artist's will consist of a live audience interview hosted by 20 year radio veteran Tony B. This will be followed by an audience Q&A session with Ms. Hathaway. There'll also be performances from talented northwest youths. Nineteen year old vocalist Elisha Myers, who appeared in the recent movie "Fame" and has also performed at the Apollo Theater in New York, and 14 year old vocalist Haben Abraham of the EriAm sisters, who recently finished a world tour after reaching the semi-finals on NBC's "America's Got Talent" will showcase their amazing talents along with nine year-old spoken word poet Taylor-Corrine.
MUSICA Entertainment's "Community Arts Alliance" program is offered to youth with the goal of enhancing and inspiring opportunity. By partnering with various community organization like the Pacific Jazz Institute, MUSICA brings nationally recognized artists from ALL genres of music into Northwest communities.
Ms. Hathaway will be performing two sets at Jazz Alley in Seattle this Thursday, Friday & Saturday with one set on Sunday. For more information or to make reservations visit www.jazzalley.com.
