Taut and harrowing. Espionage and love sparks a May-September romance embedded in a portrait of late '60s Poland during an anti-Semitic campaign of the repressive Communist regime. Kamilasexy but naive and uneducated, unwillingly becomes Little Rose. Her boyfriend, a thug in service with the secret police, persuades her to insinuate herself in the life of a university professor who is suspected of clandestine pro-Zionist and anti-Communist activities.
