Magical Strings- Celtic Yuletide Celebration
On December 21, three generations of families and artists will come together at the Winthrop Barn for a spectacular Celtic Yuletide Concert. Enjoy the sounds of the large Boulding familys Celtic harps, hammered dulcimers, violins, cello, whistles and concertina. Joining them will be the Raney family Irish dancers including seven-year-old Rowan, who will light up the dance floor in full Irish regalia. Also part of the concert series will be lyrical juggling and master Irish piping.
You are invited to join this festive family celebration by donning a costume and dancing through the Great Hall (Barn) as in the days of old, if you choose.
The Yuletide season is an opportunity to reflect on the blessings of the past, attend to the needs of those around us, and envision a better world to come. Celebrate renewal, reconciliation, and goodwill to all! 7pm at the Winthrop Barn. Desserts, hot cocoa, cider, wines. $15/$5 students and seniors, available at BrownPaperTickets.com
