The Blue Note Collective
Pete Estabrook (founder)- trumpet; Jordan Wardlaw-saxophone; John Simon- piano; Kendrick Freeman-drums; Cliff Hugo- bass.
Comprised of current and former SSU Jazz Faculty, members of The Blue Note Collective join together to render jazz from the 1950's and 60's, focusing on the soulful, bluesy, catchy tunes of the Hard Bop Masters (including Horace Silver, Lee Morgan, Kenny Dorham, Donald Byrd, Hank Mobley, Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter).
