Antenna presents: A MINDFUL MESS!
YOU are invited... to a mini mental health festival, as curious and eclectic as your mind.
MUSIC / WORKSHOPS / COMEDY / POETRY / ART / PERFORMANCE / FOOD REAL TALK / YOGA / SHORT FILMS / CONSCIOUSNESS EXPANSION
Antenna Collective returns for our most ambitious event yet: an all dayer packed into two floors back at our favourite venue, the beautiful and unique Brixton East 1871.
This event aims to promote an honest, open and creative discussion on mental health, while supporting and celebrating the work of two inspiring local mental health initiatives, Sound Minds and The Dragon Cafe. Hosted by zen wideboy Mikey Mind, a master of mindfulness who delivers workshops for the national mental health charity Mind.

Sound Minds
Sound Minds, based in Battersea, is a 'user led charity and social enterprise transforming the lives of people experiencing mental ill health through participation in arts activities'. Run and staffed by service users, it is community 'bound together by creativity and a shared belief in mutual support'. The Dragon Cafe
The Dragon Café is a Mental Fight Club initiative, an organisation founded by Sarah Wheeler, a long term sufferer of psychosis. The cafe is a relaxing café and imaginative space, open to all every Monday evening, in the Crypt of St George the Martyr Church in Borough. The cafe provides a simple, affordable, healthy menu each week, and a wide range of creative and well-being activities. As Sarah herself puts it, its a 'creative and social antidote to the lonliness which is almost endemic to the society we live in'.
