L'étoile is an opéra bouffe in three acts by Emmanuel Chabrier with a libretto by Eugène Leterrier and Albert Vanloo.
Hilarious and fun-filled brilliant operatic comedy. Sparkling with beautiful music and dramatic situations ranging from sad to hysterically funny, it is a story of love that takes place in most unusual circumstances and places. A Princess and a Pedlar, King and his Astrologer, a capital punishment and a wedding, many adventures with a happy ending as a reward for all! You will be touched and amused. Sung in English, with spoken dialogues and supertitles.
