Mary Had a Baby: Advent and African American Spirituals
Lynne Morrow will explore African American holiday Spirituals, including Mary Had a Baby, in this popular sing-along series inaugurated in Fall 2014. Join Pacific Edge Voices and music lovers of all ages and abilities in singing and learning about the history and culture of these important American songs.

Dr. Morrow is Music Director of Pacific Edge Voices and the Oakland Symphony Chorus, and Director of Voice and Music Theatre Programs at Sonoma State University. She has conducted workshops in the African-American Spiritual tradition, here in the U.S. and in Cuba.
