at the beautiful CHTHONIC THEATER WAREHOUSE, in the Jingletown Neighborhood of OAKLAND (Near Fruitvale BART Station)

ABOUT: Join us for an evening of collaborative art making, ambient music, delicious local food and discussion at Late Nite Art - a unique social art experience. This is an open platform for all non-artists and artists alike to come together. You don't need to be able to color within the lines or draw portraits of fruit bowls you just need eyes, ears, and an open mind. There is a $20 entrance fee which includes the workshop, art supplies, a delicious beer or glass of wine, and a tasty menu of select local products and local farmer's market delights. (More beer/wine will be available at cash bar)
FOOD: Chef Devin Miller
Course 1: Bread and Spreads
- Acme breads and baguettes
- Home made herbed ricotta
- Bacon kale rillette
- Slow roasted garlic cloves
- Honeyed crickets (yes crickets, they'll be dead, roasted, and salted)
Course 2: Salad
- Greens (mixed spring)
- Preserved lemon, shallot, sherry vinaigrette
- Dried cherries
- Roasted salted crickets (on the side)
Course 3: Main
- Rabbit pot pie, small individual size
- Mashed celery root with roasted garlic
- Roasted brussel sprouts with balsamic reduction
Desserts: French Pastry Chef Maxime Pouvreau
Dark chocolate cake with white chocolate and coffee ganache, warm chocolate sauce!
We ask you to respect the time frame allotted for the event 6.30PM 9.30PM. This is an immersive experience that begins and ends with the same amount of people no tardies and no early departees please.
