2x2 - Beethoven, Krommer & Mendelssohn
Join the Valley Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Artistic Director Michael H. Arshagouni as we celebrate the number "2" with two justly famous works and a rare concerto for two clarinets. For this concert, we welcome internationally celebrated clarinetists Robert Spring and Julia Heinen in Krommer's Concerto for Two Clarinets in Eb, Op.35. Concluding the program the VSO will perform Beethoven's dynamic Symphony No.2 in D, Op.36. To start things off, we will present the second overture composed by Mendelssohn - Overture "A Midsummer Night's Dream", Op.21.
This will be an evening of great music and music-making you will not want to miss.
