"Blues, Give Me Your Right Hand"|
This 3-hour workshop will focus on right hand techniques used by acoustic blues masters. We'll look at Mississippi John Hurt's ragtime picking, Rev. Gary Davis's stunning two-finger picking, Robert Johnson's thumb-heavy attack, and work toward building on your understanding of coordinating the thumb and fingers without sacrificing power and versatility. Bring a guitar and come join us. Reservations recommended; minimum 4 participants. Questions welcome! scott [at] CattailMusic [dot] com.
