So many films are shot on video nowadays, from huge blockbusters to indie darlings, that it's easy to forget that there was a time when only the weirdest and trashiest trash films were. With home video booming in the 80s, distributors were clamoring for product, and personal camcorders allowed ambitious no-budget filmmakers to put their beautiful and terrible images on screens all over the world. Scarecrow, Bleeding Skull, and The Grand Illusion are proud to present SHOCK AND AWE, a mystery 5-film marathon of deep cuts straight from our stacks, guaranteed to cause permanent brain damage.
