Currently making big waves in the dubstep/drumstep and bass music scene, SOLO continually raises the bar with his own cross-breed of turntablism and controlerism techniques, high energy live performances that have been known to include guitar playing, rapping, singing, live drumming, video DJ sets, original bootlegs and remixes, and guaranteed face melting or your money back!!!
SOLO is a member of Los Angeles based crew SOUL ASSASSINS (Cypress Hill, House of Pain, Mr. Cartoon), as well as the Champaign/Urbana IL electronic music crew Chalice Dubs. Aside from his track record in the hip-hop game, producing for, touring and working with such acts as The Wu Tang Clan (GZA, RZA, Raekwon, Killah Priest), Everlast, Maroon 5, Planet Asia, and a host of LA's finest, he has continued to push into the future, supporting EDM acts such as Skrillex, Figure, Vaski, Borgore, and Die Antwoord.
As a result of his festival touring, he now also has a foot in the electronic/jam-band scene, having done tours opening for Boombox, and Big Gigantic, and doing heavy electronic remixes for Chicago locals Umphrey's McGee, Cornmeal, and even had Jaik Willis perform vocals to his song "Mile In My Shoes" live at a contest gig to play at North Coast Festival!
SOLO continues to produce original multi-genre BASS music, experiment and innovate the current state of DJ technology, and bring a message of love, light and awakening to the people through rebellious music of all genres.||<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
